Celebrity Divorces Throughout The World
The world of glitz and showbiz has always fascinated people from all over the world. Be it the visual effects and such technical aspects of a film or the personal life and interests of actors, all these things have managed to hold people’s attention taut. One interesting thing that fascinates me a lot is the way love affairs and married lives of celebrities end quickly, just like the movies they act in. The number of celebrities taking divorce in Canada is also above average.
Though celebrities act like super heroes and people with extreme power and strength in movies it is still fictional. It isn’t true. They too have emotions and are just normal like any other human being. It becomes a very big issue if Madonna and Guy Ritchie end their marriage life whereas that’s not the case in the divorce of some Tom, Dick and Harry. That’s what differentiates celebrity divorces from the divorce of a normal person. Some say that celebrities take divorce just for publicity. I don’t know how far that is true. But keeping in mind cases like that of Sean Penn and Robin Wright it is not truly wrong to come to such a conclusion about celebrity divorce.
Recently, I read a news article released by New York Daily News, which spoke about singer LeAnn Rimes divorcing her husband Deane Sheremet. This is what made me write about celebrity divorces in the first place. I’m not much of an ardent movie goer myself. But the way people in tinsel town behave and live has always puzzled me.
Let’s have a look at the number of celebrity couples who took divorce in the recent past. There may be many, but let’s take into consideration only the most famous ones. Robin Wright – Sean Penn, Eddie Murphy – Tracey Edmunds, Madonna – Guy Ritchie, Liv Tyler – Royston Langdon, Robin Williams – Marsha Garces, Pink – Carey Hart. If that’s just not enough, there is still more to come. Mel Gibson – Robyn Moore, Stephanie Seymour – Peter Brant, Emilie de Ravin – Josh Janowicz, Jane Kaczmarek – Bradley Whitford. Hmmm, it is indeed interesting to see all.
And interestingly, many celebrities in traditionally rich countries like India too have started taking divorces of late. Thanks to Google, now we can be updated on what is happening in other countries too. I discovered this thing when I was searching for celebrity divorces on Google. A celebrity couple, Selvaraghavan – Sonia Agarwal (psst!! I wonder how they pronounce these names) ended their marriage life recently. Taking divorce in Canada is becoming very common. Celebrities are no exceptions to it. It is the media that blows this matter out of proportion. Otherwise it is all just normal. This reminds me of a song by Good Charlotte, ‘I just wanna live’. Yes people, let them live!!
